Norway has advanced its participation in the Patria-led Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) programme.
According to Patria, Norway has signed the CAVS Framework Agreement as the next step towards the serial procurement phase. The agreement enables Norway to proceed with future orders for Patria’s CAVS 6x6 armoured vehicles.
Advertisement-Norway’s signature of the CAVS Framework Agreement is another tangible step forward for multinational CAVS cooperation, said Jussi Järvinen, executive vice president of Patria’s Protected Mobility business area.
He added that the framework allows participating nations to “move fast, buy smart and sustain locally”, while delivering interoperable protected mobility capabilities and strengthening security of supply through shared industrial cooperation.

Norway joined the CAVS programme in 2025 alongside the United Kingdom.

Patria is already delivering vehicles to several CAVS member nations, including Finland, Sweden, Latvia, Denmark and Germany.
